Two crew members were aboard. The aircraft continued toward Yellowknife, and the problem became operationally important during the descent. Near the top of descent, the crew received a low-left-fuel indication and requested priority handling because of the fuel state. The indication subsequently extinguished, but the crew continued managing the arrival with the remaining fuel in mind.

Good cockpit management can mean identifying the developing problem early, telling ATC what assistance is required and keeping the aircraft moving toward a suitable airport while the remaining options are still available.
