Incident Map

This map plots every incident reconstruction in the archive at the airport nearest to where it occurred, using the airport already recorded in that incident's own facts. Not every reconstruction names a specific airport — a handful describe an event over open water, along a route, or at an unnamed location — so those are left off the map rather than placed at a guessed position. The year and type filters read the same date and category data used elsewhere on the site, including the Case Files archive and the Leaderboard. Clicking a marker links directly to the full reconstruction for that incident, with its ATC audio, track and sourcing.
